Welcome to my website!

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in Haptics and VR Lab at Kyung Hee University exploring how humans perceive touch through physical interaction. My research focuses on the sensory and mechanical principles that define tactile and kinesthetic perception, examining how force, vibration, and motion shape perceptual realism and user experience. I have worked with grounded and ungrounded systems, including wearable devices, drone-based haptics, and specialized interfaces, to study touch across diverse physical contexts.

To design accurate and perceptually grounded haptic feedback, I conduct psychophysical experiments and analyses to interpret interaction signals and generate feedback that aligns with perceptual intent. My recent work integrates traditional modeling with Applied AI to develop perceptually consistent haptic rendering frameworks, enabling intelligent, interpretable, and lifelike touch experiences across virtual and physical systems.
